~ STERLING SILVER HEXAGON BANGLE WITH GREEN SEA GLASS ~

A beautiful oval shaped piece of green sea glass is the focal part of this sterling silver hammered hexagon bangle. Crafted by hand at my East London studio. a circular shape has first been fused and then forged into a hexagon, which makes a powerful statement on the wrist whilst being delicate enough to maintain subtlety. An organic texturing has been applied using a basic hammer to create deep ridges, offset in contrast with the smooth almost teal-like green sea glass from Seaham, North East England.

Measures: 6cm x 6.8cm approximately (6cm from side to side, 6.8cm from point to point)
Materials: Sterling silver, fine silver, sea glass
Finish: oxidised, shiny/polished

Each piece of my handmade jewellery is traditionally made by me using silversmithing tools and skills at my East London studio and are mostly one of a kind creations. I use precious metals, solid metals, gemstones and beach finds in my work and apply different textures and finishes to vary my work as much as possible. I love to use organic shapes and influences and most sea glass or sea pottery pieces are used as they are without any additional cutting, sanding or tumbling. Gemstones are ethically sourced and I use every tiny bit of silver I purchase including any fragments, offcuts and silver dust. My sea glass jewellery and sea pottery jewellery may need more care than a regular piece of jewellery because of the nature of the vintage glass set within it. Please refer to my guidance page for tips to preserve your sea glass jewellery pieces. Oxidised jewellery will also need particular care to keep the oxidised finish for as long as possible.

All of my handmade jewellery pieces are presented in rustic, eco-friendly gift boxes and shipped in recycled eco-friendly packaging where possible.
