Double sea glass pendant, 4cm long in sterling & fine silver - dark green circle and aqua triangle sea glass on 18" spiga chain. Textured and oxidised with pebble detail.
This pendant is from the Off the Rocks collection previously housed at the Brightwater Gallery, Alnwick, England. It has been made using sterling silver and fine silver using traditional silversmithing skills and tools.
It has been given an industrial-inspired texture and an oxidised finish.
The collection was inspired by the environment in which the sea glass and sea pottery was found in the North East of England. Elements of industry and nature collide by use of concrete to texture the silver and little silver pebbles to denote the beaches along the coast of Seaham.
