~ LARGE AQUA SEA GLASS PENDANT ~

A beautiful large piece of aqua sea glass is set in this sterling silver statement pendant. Handcrafted at my East London studio using traditional silversmith techniques and tools, a frame setting (bezel) has been handmade with a textured sterling silver backplate and the sea glass is then held by three sterling silver claws. The pendant is finished with a sterling silver belcher chain which, when laid out including the pendant, measures 17.5 inches. Connected with a sterling silver magnetic clasp for ease when putting on. The sea glass is from the beautifully rugged coastline of Seaham, North East England.

Each piece of my jewellery is traditionally made by me using silversmithing tools and skills at my East London studio and are mostly one of a kind creations. I use precious metals, gemstones and beach finds in my work and apply different textures and finishes to vary my work as much as possible. I love to use organic shapes and influences and most sea glass or sea pottery pieces are used as they are without any additional cutting, sanding or tumbling. Gemstones are ethically sourced and I use every tiny bit of silver I purchase including any fragments, offcuts and silver dust.

All of my handmade jewellery pieces are presented in rustic, eco-friendly gift boxes and shipped in recycled eco-friendly packaging where possible.
