This sterling and fine silver ring has been made using traditional silversmith techniques. 

The sterling silver band has been hand-sawn and textured to create a hammered finish. It has then been oxidised to create a darkened, antique effect. Two CZ gemstones (one white and one purple) have been hand set onto the edge of each side of the open band.

Approximate size - size P/Q (as it is a wide band) but as it is an open band, it may be adjusted to fit some sizes. Please email your size at the time of purchase to ensure it can be accommodated.

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio, and are generally one of a kind in their design. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from sheet silver and silver wire and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g.
