~ HANDCRAFTED STERLING SILVER AND GREEN ONYX SHIELD RING ~

• This ring has been handcrafted using traditional silversmith tools and techniques from sterling silver.

• A large hand cut and shaped sterling silver circle has been textured with jagged chop marks leading from the centre using a steel stamp to create each line and mark individually.

• It has a vibrant single rose cut green onyx at its centre to create a decorative shield effect.

• The ring band has been hand forged from sterling silver wire and hammered to create a contrasting texture to the circle. The band has been slightly oxidised to highlight this texture. The circular part of the ring has not been oxidised to create a brilliantly shiny finish.

• Hand and tumble polished.

• Size UK P 1/2.

All of my jewellery is handcrafted at my East London studio using traditional silversmith skills and techniques. All pieces are generally one-offs but I do take custom orders so if you see something is sold, please get in touch and I may be able to make something similar. I hold a range of gems, authentic sea glass, sea pottery and beach finds from which you may choose to have a piece crafted to your size. All of my packaging is eco-friendly where possible and I also often recycle packaging to send an item through the post.
