~ ORBITAL RING WITH BLUE AND WHITE MULTI SEA GLASS ~

This ring plays on a celestial theme, with the rare blue and white multi seaglass “floating” inside the textured silver circle. The ring band has been formed into a U shape to create a unique style and a real statement piece. The beautifully shaped blue and white sea glass was hand sourced from Seaham, England. This piece of sea glass is a “multi” which means it has a combination of colours rather than just one colour and is thought to have been created when a mix of glass merged together in the factory and was then discarded into the sea many years ago.

The silver has been slightly oxidised and then given a high shine to really celebrate its rustic texture.

Measures: 1.5cm diameter approximately
Size: UK N 1/2 {but because of the U shaped band, it feels more like a P 1/2).
Material: Sterling and fine silver, sea glass
Finish: slightly oxidised & shiny/polished

Each piece of my jewellery is traditionally made by me using silversmithing tools and skills at my East London studio and are mostly one of a kind creations. I use precious metals, gemstones and beach finds in my work and apply different textures and finishes to vary my work as much as possible. I love to use organic shapes and influences and most sea glass or sea pottery pieces are used as they are without any additional cutting, sanding or tumbling. Gemstones are ethically sourced and I use every tiny bit of silver I purchase including any fragments, offcuts and silver dust.

All of my handmade jewellery pieces are presented in rustic, eco-friendly gift boxes and shipped in recycled packaging where possible.
