This ring has been handcrafted using sterling silver which has been textured and oxidised to create depth and contrast to the metal. One end has a flat snake head shape and the other has an arrow/triangular shape. This ring is fairly small, a UK size J, which could be used as a ring, a toe ring or a midi ring. It is open which means it can be adjusted slightly (although not too much as this would alter the appearance of the ring).

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio, and are generally one of a kind in their design. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from solid sheet metal and wire (silver, copper, brass, gold, bronze) and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g.
