These earrings have been handmade from sterling silver, shaped into hearts and given a hammered effect. Each earring is set with a single green amethyst in a silver tube setting and hangs from a handcrafted sterling silver ear wire.

Each earring has been hand polished.

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio, and are generally one of a kind in their design. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from sheet metal and solid metal wire and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g.
