~ HANDCRAFTED OXIDISED SILVER AND PINK SHELL RING SIZE UK R 1/2 ~

• This ring has been handmade in its entirety using silversmith tools and techniques. I used a saw to cut the base from a sheet of silver, which was then textured using steel stamps (each pattern has been made by hand). I then crafted a bezel (frame) from silver to fit the piece of natural shell which was then soldered to the base.

• I fashioned the sterling silver ring band from silver wire, texturing it with a hammer and then soldering it to the ring base before setting the natural piece of shell.

• This beautiful piece of pink shell, with its natural grooves and gradients of colour, was hand sourced by me from Parga on the Greek coast.

• The silver ring was oxidised and then hand & tumble polished.

All of my jewellery is handcrafted at my East London studio using traditional silversmith skills and techniques. All pieces are generally one-offs but I do take custom orders so if you see something is sold, please get in touch and I may be able to make something similar. I hold a range of gems, authentic sea glass, sea pottery and beach finds from which you may choose to have a piece crafted to your size. All of my packaging is eco-friendly where possible and I also often recycle packaging to send an item through the post.
