This spinner ring has been handcrafted using traditional silversmith skills and tools using sterling silver. Spinner rings are also known as worry rings or fidget rings and are a great way of focusing nervous energy or anxiety.

The main band has been hand forged into a wide ring and given a wonderfully detailed hammered pattern. The edges of the ring have been flared and curled into waves. The sterling silver spinner has also been given a contrasting texture pattern which has been made using metal stamps, each mark having been made individually.

The spinner ring has been oxidised (darkened) and polished to create a bold contrast in the light and dark parts of the pattern.

This ring is a UK size O 1/2 to Q 1/2 (it sits across three sizes).

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio in East London, and are generally one of a kind in their design or what is set into them. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from solid sheet metal and wire (silver, copper, brass, gold, bronze) and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea, predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g
